How do I use them?
For Cantonese, I usually use 粵語說  to check Cantonese pinyin. Also, they provide some Cantonese conversations that are used in daily life, so I will follow the audio sound to read those sentences to practice my pronunciation. Apart from that, if I use my laptop, I will use Cantonese online dictionary to check the words. Last but not least, when I am on the metro or bus, I usually read the Cantonese blog to train my Cantonese reading skill. During the reading, I will search for the words that I don't know, which lets me know more Cantonese words.

For English, I learn English mainly for two purposes. On one hand, it is to improve my speaking skill. I use 每日英語聽力 and BBC Learning English to learn expressions in spoken English. I will choose one article to read every day and listen to the audio and take notes. Meanwhile, I use some language exchange websites to practice English with foreigners. On the other hand, I have to prepare for IELTS, so I use the website, like IELTS Liz, IELTS Simon to grab some listening and reading tips and learn how to write English articles informatively and logically.

For French, I mainly use Busuu to pick up new words and expressions whenever I have available time. Apart from the systematic courses provided in Busuu, an interactive part is also included. For example, if I write something or speak something and post them in the forum, some native speakers will help me to correct my mistakes and give suggestions for improvement. In addition, French learning YouTube channels and podcasts are also the tools that I frequently use. After I have taken some French courses no matter in school or in Busuu, I will watch some videos or listen to some podcasts to further expand my vocabulary and know some cultural backgrounds. Lastly, I rarely watch French news or TV series. The main reason can be that my French level is not that high enough to understand the content, and I just save them in my list so that I can watch them in the future.
Self-reflection
I mainly use various e-resources to learn different languages.  Considering the price and portability of books and materials, online resources are more abundant and convenient. Whenever I am on the metro or on the flight, I can always use my phone to learn some new words and know some cultures related to that language.

Talking about my own language learning experience, my improvement in French mainly attributes to the APP Busuu. It has rich and systematic language learning resources and helps me to learn French not only just learn new words but also watch videos and get feedback from other native speakers. Apart from the APP, I have a variety of options, such as podcasts, TV programme and YouTube. All of these make me immerse in an almost  real French-speaking environment. Next, for the English, there are many language exchange websites for us to learn English from native speakers, which is different from what I get from books. My vocabulary has expanded and my spoken English is more influent through talking to other people. Therefore, I can use different approaches to improve my language and they do have an effect.

However, the disadvantages of them cannot be neglected. Due to a large number of apps and websites, it is easy for people to get lost. Some people may use this app today and then change to another app tommorrow, which do not have any effects on improving their languages. Especially for some non-English foreign languages, there are not enough and organised resources online, which can also be a trouble for people who want to learn them online. Thus, it is still necessary to develop some organised online language courses and gather different materials together to help people learn new languages.
